Our Offer:

The Nu Energy Energy Solar Program enables you to have a Solar Hot Water System installed at a significantly reduced cost!

You are able to offset the costs involved by claiming either the Federal Government, (OR if applicable, the State Government rebate) and combining those with the point of sale discounts received from the Renewable Energy Certificates (REC’s) and Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEEC’s) that are created when Solar Hot Water Systems are installed.

For some of our Regional Victorian customers we can install a system valued at around $5000 for as little as $1079 for a standard installation (conditions apply). Extra costs are applicable for non standard installations for instance the cost of Outdoor Power Switches if needed is not included, nor is the cost of the specific frame if you have a flat roof. It all depends on what your site requires in order for us to install the System.

    • I want to install my solar hot water system in an existing home (i.e not available for houses under construction).

Some of the benefits are:

  • Soon to be introduced legislation will prohibit the use of Electric Hot Water Systems in Australia.
  • After 2012 you will no longer be able to purchase an Electric Hot Water System in Australia. So if your system breaks down after 2012, you will be up for the full cost of switching your system from Electric to Gas or Solar – this could cost you as much as $5000.
  • By switching to Solar, you will see the savings from day one! Just check your Power Bills – savings can be up to 80% of your water heating costs per year.

  • A copy of your city council rates notice to confirm your address, this can be given to the Assessor at the time of assessment.
  • A suitable time when an adult is home to perform the assessment.
  • All dogs to be secured at the time of assessment.
