Chromagen split solar hot water heaters consist of high performance roof mounted solar collectors matched with a high quality, technologically advanced ground mounted hot water hot water storage tanks. The automatic thermostat will ensure that the water on the top half of the tank will not fall below 60 degrees; if the input of solar energy is sufficient to keep the water temperature above the thermostat setting, like in summer, the thermostat won’t turn on the booster at all. It is only if the weather turns bad and the stored temperature falls below 60 degrees that the booster will be activated automatically. Ensuring you a continuous flow of hot water when you need it!
