Due to popular demand from the community, Mornington Peninsula Shire is facilitating another group purchase scheme for solar power. The Shire has worked with external experts the Alternative Technology Association to assess proposals from solar companies and is pleased to announce that it is partnering with NU Energy as its preferred supplier to the Mornington Peninsula.
Installing solar power to your home can not only save you money on your electricity bill but will also reduce your carbon footprint.
NU Energy will provide residents and property owners on the Mornington Peninsula with a 1.5 kW solar power system for $1,999 fully installed (standard system only). This price has been guaranteed until 5PM, 13th May 2011. Other system sizes are available. NU Energy
is also including the fastening rack for a tiled roof free of charge (normally $198+) and offering an extended workmanship warranty of five years, exclusive to the Mornington Peninsula.
