Back to newsThe Victorian Government has reviewed and announced important changes to the Premium Feed In Tariff (PFIT) as the 100MW cap is believed to have been exceeded or close to capacity.
Summary of the Media Release is as follows:
- Premium Feed In Tariff (PFIT) – 60c - has now been replaced by the Transitional Feed In Tariff (TFIT) – 25c
- Customers who are already in contract for installation must ensure all the required paperwork has been submitted before 30 September to obtain the PFIT – 60c
- NUE, or our sub contractors, will need to lodge the following paperwork with the relevant electricity suppliers:
Photovoltaic (Solar) Generator Connection Form;
Electrical Work Request (EWR); and
Certificate of Electrical Safety (CES).
NOTE: The CES is undertaken by Electrical Safe Victoria. If the paperwork has not been submitted by 30 September the customer will not be considered for the PFIT – 60c
