Natural Heat's Integrated Solar Solution: Australia’s first heat pump boosted solar system!
Combining the best hot water technologies, our integrated solar solution will revolutionise the enviro hot water market. This one of a kind system utilises both sunlight and ambient air to deliver steaming hot water heated via solar collectors and a heat pump booster.
How it works:
1. Cold water from the storage tank is pumped to the solar collector
2. Sunlight is absorbed by the collectors heating the water
3. The heated water is circulated back into the storage tank where it is ready to use
4. If the water’s temperature is below 55°C the heat pump heats the tank water to 60°C The heat pump uses refrigerant and heat exchange technology to transfer heat from ambient air to water, not relying on sunlight. Very little electricity is required to run heat pumps thus increasing the system’s energy efficiency.
