Update for Residents who have signed up for the Nu Energy NSW Zone 2 Special Offer.
Nu Energy are about to start installing solar PV systems for the many residents and businesses who signed up to our NSW Zone 2 special offer.
Follow these steps for the information process:
Nu Energy is working with your electricity retailer to ensure a smooth installation of your solar electricity system. Your electricity retailer requires a Grid Connect Application form to be completed and lodged before installation can commence. To assist you with this application, Nu Energy has pre completed this form for you and will be posting a copy of the Grid Connect Application form and the required 'line diagram' in the next few days.
Please be advised that Nu Energy will be unable to install your system unless your application for grid connection has been approved. Please add your details to the Grid Connect Application form and forward the completed form to your electricity retailer as soon as possible which will be assess and processed as they are received.
Although Nu Energy is assisting in arranging for your system to be connected to the grid, the actual agreement to undertake that connection and installation of metering is an agreement between you and your electricity retailer and/or distributor. The costs and risks of the connection to the grid and meter installation are not included in your agreement with Nu Energy.
As such we strongly recommend that to help ensure that you do not miss out, you submit your Grid Connect Application form as soon as possible. Please do NOT send your completed Grid Connect Application form to Nu Energy.
After your Grid Connection Application has been approved by your electricity retailer, your installation team will contact you directly to schedule an installation date.
**** UPDATE ****:
For those who have already received your Grid Connect Application form in the mail, it is important that you complete the forms and return them to Country Energy as soon as possible. Nu Energy cannot begin your installation until these forms have been completed and approved by Country Energy. Once this process has been completed, your Nu Energy installation team will be in contact with you directly to schedule an installation period.
Nu Energy office opens in Dubbo
Warehouse facilities and administration services are now located in 23 Jannalli Road, Dubbo.
Several local residents have been employed to manage this facility and ensure installations are scheduled and progressing.
Qualified installers
All installations will be carried out by licensed electricians who are accredited by Business Council for Sustainable Energy.
