How Does It Work?
- The solar component of our systems is designed to deliver sufficient free solar heated water to cover the majority of typical daily use all year round. The solar controlled pump circulates water between the preheat tanks and the solar collectors whenever solar energy is available.
- Solar preheated water is stored, ready for use, in the gas boosted tank, with the gas booster pump only activated when the temperature of the tank drops below the desired level.
- Our systems include a gas boosted component, which can handle the “First Hour” and “Recovery” load in the event of low solar availability.
