Adelaide Thunderbirds

Nu Energy would like to congratulate The Adelaide Thunderbirds, Champions of the 2010 ANZ Netball Championship!!!!

What a year it has been for the Thunderbirds, having started the season slowly they came back to charge to glory defeating every team in the competition and earn a home grand final. In front of a capacity crowd, the Thunderbirds defeated the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Magic 52 - 42 to take home the title.

Earlier this year, Nu Energy undertook a major sponsorship with the Thunderbirds, that has seen the Nu Energy logo on their uniforms.

A further congratulations is also due to Nu Energy's own Sharni Layton, who took out the Mars Red Young Player of the Year award.

Sharni is a Key Account Administrator in Nu Energy's Adelaide Office after relocating to Adelaide to pursue her netball career.
